Homemade pasta with homemade pesto. When I was a kid I would help my parents make fresh pasta quite often, so this meal is really nostalgic for me. A pasta machine was one of the first things I bought at a garage sale in anticipation for moving out of home… 5 years ago, but I am pretty sure I hadn’t used it before last week. Now I’ve finally gotten my shit together and made it myself  and remembered how simple, satisfying and meditative it is I think I will be doing it quite often again.
