Vietnamese roll minus the pork.
I grew up eating and loving $2 pork rolls from Vietnamese bakeries in Footscray. When I’m in Footscray now there are a few really good veg options- with tofu, mock meat or mushrooms. But the few Vietnamese bakeries on Sydney Rd in Brunswick where I live now don’t have those options and I just get a pork roll without the pork- the vinegar carrots, coriander, soy sauce, and chili are such an amazing combo! This roll had so much fresh chili on it that I cried for about ten minutes.
