Olive beer bread.
I used Sophie’s recipe which I’ve had saved as a link on my homepage for longer than I’ve known Sophie I think, but I’d never made it before. After a party at my house I found a can of beer in the kitchen that someone had opened and not drunk any of, so I whipped this up using a whole jar full of olives that were $1 because they were in a gross balsamic vinegar brine, which I just rinsed off before adding them to the dough. It was a bit sweet so maybe you could use less sugar, but I don’t know if that would work as well because I haven’t made it since and have been getting onto sourdough- my first loaf is in the oven right now but that’s another post!
about 1 can of beer (350ml-ish) + 3C SR flour + 3 tablespoons of sugar
